Nia Incorporated

Services Offered:

Nia Incorporated serves families, parents, and youth in Rantoul and surrounding communities. Our programs focus on supporting parents as leaders in schools, equipping adults with digital and workforce skills, and providing safe, enriching opportunities for youth. We work with individuals of all ages, with a special emphasis on K-8 students, parents seeking to build career pathways, and families who benefit from academic, social, and community support. Nia Incorporated offers three core programs listed below. Through these initiatives, Nia Incorporated addresses educational inequities, promotes family engagement, and builds stronger, more resilient communities.

  • Project Nia Parent Mentor Program

    • A 40-week initiative in partnership with Rantoul City Schools, pairing parents with teachers to support small-group learning while also building leadership and workforce pathways for parents.

  • STRIVE Digital Skills Training

    • A program that equips adults with essential computer and digital literacy skills to strengthen employability and expand career opportunities.

  • Project Nia Youth Summer Program

    • A safe and engaging summer program for junior high youth that combines academic enrichment, social action, leadership, and violence prevention activities.
